Private Events

The Culver Hotel's historical presence and architectural features have attracted many events and creative productions throughout the years. The lobby and other areas of the hotel have been featured in numerous movies since the 1920 's, from the Laurel and Hardy Classics to the latest film and television productions.

Catering options are numerous. We offer small meetings with continental breakfast to formal sit down wedding receptions…and everything in between. Our private event professionals are here to help you personalize your next occasion and make it a most memorable event.

The PARISIAN ROOM
Our new private events space is located on the second floor Gallery level of the hotel . The design was inspired by old Parisian apartments and features herringbone hardwood floors, French windows and intricate architectural details. At approximately 800 square feet, this space also contains its own sound system and LCD projector for business meetings and different types of functions. It is perfect for private seated events for up to 60 guests (dinners, luncheons, high teas) and 100 guests standing for receptions when used in conjunction with the adjacent Mr. Culver’s Office and its anteroom.

The HARRY CULVER OFFICE (Conference Room)
This historic room is the original office of Harry Culver, Culver City's Founder. The unusual and unique layout permits a variety or functions from board meetings to small conferences as well as intimate social gatherings or workshops. Wireless internet access, multiple power outlets and a projection screen are additional features which make the conference room an ideal place for making a presentation.

The room is approximately 400 square feet and can hold up to 40 people depending on the set up. A 260 square foot foyer greets you upon entering, serving as a perfect reception area for registration or food and beverage set-up. All of the windows open to allow in a fresh breeze, with lots of sunlight during the day and a bustling view of Downtown Culver City by night.

The MEZZANINE LOUNGE
The Mezzanine Lounge is available for parties and has the possibility of having its own separate bar. This private setting is recommended for smaller sit down events and cocktail parties. Live entertainment and dancing upon request. The area is approximately 950 square feet accommodating up to 70 people and can be set up different ways according to your specific needs.

The GRAND LOBBY
The Grand Lobby transports us back into time with its Renaissance Revival elegance, 22 foot ceilings and towering windows. With approximately 2,000 square feet of space and a fully stocked bar, the Grand Lobby is available for small or large parties up to 200 people. It is truly a unique setting.

The PRIVATE DINING ROOM
The Dining Room is a long rectangular room with approximately 700 square feet filled with natural light and featuring an original checkerboard marble flooring. This area offers a separate entrance with the option of using an additional 900 square feet of private outdoor patio space overlooking the Culver Town Plaza. The Dining Room can accommodate up to 50 people seated and up to 100 people standing.
